"Darby Taylor and Natalie Kopp members of the Niagara Rapids Volleyball Club and competing in their very first
OVA sanctioned beach volleyball tournament came home as gold medal champions in the U13 division.
In pool play at Ashbridges Bay Park in Toronto the girls went 2 - 2 to finish in 2nd place.
They turned it on in the knock out playoff round going a combined 8 -1 to bring home the top prize.
The girls teamwork paid huge dividends in very cold, windy and wet conditions and they are looking forward
to try and duplicate their performance at the next OVA tournaments in Toronto and Cobourg."
